Making friends with "no"
Consider where in your life you may be in the habit of saying "yes" when you actually want to say "no".
Practice flexing your "no" muscles. Give yourself permission to decline an invitation, or take something off the calendar. Maybe you need to set a boundary with someone when you might normally fall into people-pleasing mode. Or practice being honest at work when someone asks for your assistance, and you know you're already spread too thin!
Remember that a kind but honest "no" to others is often a loving, generous "yes" to ourselves.
