"I am done apologizing for my body." // #mantramonday
Sex with the lights on. Oof. It's something that scares a lot of us, and I'm going to go out on a limb and say that's a huge problem! We're all very aware of the photo-shopping frenzies that occur behind the scenes of our favorite magazine photo spreads featuring Hottie McSkinny-Ass and Curvy VonZeroCellulite. We know that as women, we are held to unrealistic and often unattainable standards of physical beauty. We "know" it, as in: we get it intellectually, but so many of us still feel embarrassed, awkward and downright ashamed of our bodies as they are today. Fear not! There's a #mantramonday for that:

That's right ladies - no more apologizing, hiding yourself, or judging your self-worth based on a number on the scale or stretch marks. We have to stop the cycle of devaluing ourselves based on our perceived "flaws" and imperfections. No one else is going to do it for you, so start making this mantra part of your daily self-talk routine.
YES! I love me a bodacious body-loving declaration! Thank you for watching this week and share this post with a friend who you know could use an empowered pick-me-up. See you so soon!
Much Love,
Amy
